## Setup MQTT broker
|
||
|
||
### Create and Setup VM
|
||
Install latest fedora [35]
|
||
Setup <secret info> connection to internet
|
||
|
||
### install mosquitto
|
||
```
|
||
sudo dnf install mosquitto
|
||
```
|
||
setup log on ```sudo nano /etc/mosquitto/mosquitto.conf```
|
||

||
listener 1883 0.0.0.0
|
||
allow_anonymous true
|
||
|
||
log_dest syslog
|
||
log_type all
|
||
log_facility 5
|
||

## Nginx router
|
||
|
||
In case mosquitto is not facing internet directly, a proxy server may needed. Caddy do not work, only nginx.
|
||
|
||
To install nginx
|
||

sudo dnf install nginx nginx-mod-stream
|
||

check firewal and selinux in case of problem

and select use TLS
